Benefits Of Radiance Resurfacing

Radiance Resurfacing Can:

Our Approach To Skin Resurfacing

During your skincare consultation with one of our skin care specialists, all of your skincare concerns will be thoroughly discussed. A customized treatment plan will be devised to address your skin concerns. The number of treatments will depend on multiple individual factors and your aesthetic goals. Radiance Resurfacing is designed for an array of cosmetic needs and can be easily customized based on each individual patient. Thermal microchannels are utilized to penetrate the skin to stimulate a thermal effect down to the dermis that does not disturb the surrounding tissue. These micro-injury sites allow for faster healing and enhance results by stimulating collagen and neocollagenesis.

What To Expect During Treatment

Your Radiance Resurfacing treatment will be performed on an outpatient basis. A topical numbing agent will be applied to your skin to minimize any discomfort. The hand piece will be glided over the treated area; it delivers a pulse that gives a warm sensation. Typically, the Radiance Resurfacing treatment will last about 30 minutes, depending on the size of the area being treated. A soothing cream will be applied post treatment to help protect and heal the skin.

Radiance Resurfacing Recovery

Radiance Resurfacing has little to zero downtime, and regular, daily activities can be resumed immediately following treatment. It is common to experience mild redness and a tingling sensation immediately following the procedure and for these symptoms to last for about three days. It is important to protect the treated areas from sun exposure with a broad-spectrum sunscreen (UVA & UVB) with an SPF of 30 or higher following the treatment.
