Power Pixel Philadelphia
As time goes on, our skin begins to show signs of aging through fine lines, wrinkles, scars, and uneven texture. The Power Pixel is a fractionated skin resurfacing procedure that visibly reduces fine lines and wrinkles, as well as creates a smoother complexion. This is an ideal option for patients who desire optimal results for aged, photodamaged skin with minimal downtime. Significant improvements are visible with just one treatment with drastically reduced risk of complications compared to other laser resurfacing procedures.
Power Pixel Can:
- Diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
- Reduce the appearance of acne scars
- Enhance skin texture and skin tone
- Rejuvenate the skin for a more youthful appearance
- Safely achieve desired results with minimum downtime
Our Customized Approach
During your skin care consultation with one of our skin care specialists, all of your skin care concerns will be thoroughly discussed. A customized treatment plan will be devised to address your skin concerns. The number of treatments will depend on multiple individual factors and your aesthetic goals. The Power Pixel is designed for an array of cosmetic needs and can be easily customized based on each individual patient. The Power Pixel utilizes thermal microchannels to penetrate the skin to stimulate a thermal effect down to the dermis, which does not disturb the surrounding tissue. These micro-injury sites allow for faster healing and enhance results by stimulating collagen and neocollagenesis.
Day of Treatment
Your Power Pixel treatment will be performed on an outpatient basis. A topical numbing agent will be applied to your skin to minimize any discomfort. The hand piece will be glided over the treated area; it delivers a pulse that gives a warm sensation. Typically, the Power Pixel treatment will last about 30 minutes, depending on the size of the area being treated. A soothing cream will be applied post treatment to help protect and heal the skin.
Power Pixel Recovery
It is common to experience redness, peeling, swelling, and dryness for approximately five days post treatment. It is important to keep the skin hydrated during the recovery period to aid in the healing process. It is critical to protect the treated areas from sun exposure with a broad-spectrum sunscreen (UVA & UVB) with an SPF of 30 or higher during the recovery period.
