An eyelid lift with Dr. Scott Chapin refreshes and brightens your natural appearance by smoothing, tightening, and opening the eyes, restoring a rested, youthful look that reflects how you truly feel.

Following your eyelid lift surgery, you may experience swelling, bruising, and mild discomfort around the eyes. These side effects should gradually improve over the next 2 weeks. For the first few days, keep your head elevated and avoid bending, lifting, or engaging in any strenuous activities to minimize swelling and bruising. While the procedure is not typically painful, Dr. Chapin will prescribe pain medication to alleviate any discomfort.
Depending on the extent of your blepharoplasty, plan to take one week off work. Most patients can return to work within 7 days, and even sooner if patients have the ability to work remotely. However, for the next 2 weeks, you should avoid strenuous activities and high-impact exercise.
